Fall Into YA Giveaway #2

Welcome to week two of Fall Into YA. Winner of our first contest is April X who chose The Name of the Star by Maureen Johnson. Congrats!

This week, our contest is something you'll need to work for. ; ) Think of all the YA books you've read, and pick one character who you think would be the perfect boyfriend or girlfriend for you. Tell me who they are and why you picked them. Leave your email so I can contact you if you win. You must be 13 or older. Contest is open internationally, but please be sure Book Depository ships to you. Winner chooses any YA book that releases this fall.

Want an extra chance to win? Be sure to check Scribing Shadows for a similar contest. One winner chosen between both blogs/contests. Winner chosen at random so don't worry if your entry isn't original. Good luck!

I think Jace from The Mortal Instruments would be perfect for me because I can't have a pushover or someone who is all lovey dovey all the time.

I think Six from the Lorien Legacies series: she is just so honest and bad-ass that I just adore her. I like other YA people, but don't think I'd gel with them as well. I'd probably get on well with Mary from The Forest of Hands and Teeth too, but hers is a scary world!

I guess I'd choose Xander from Matched. Just because he's fairly normal, does not fly/drink blood/turn into a wolf.

As much as I love Peeta, I am gonna have to pick Adam from If I Stay/Where She Went. He is gorgeous, gifted, intense, honest and just a regular guy. He is also very loyal and thoughtful and what girl doesn't love those qualities? Oh yea, the rock star hotness is not lost on me either lol.

I'm going with Peeta Mallark from The Hunger Games because he will do anything to protect the people he loves. Oh and he bakes too, so that is always sexy!

I choose Patch from Hush, Hush. I think he's good for me because he's kind of bad. Not totally the bad boy but enough to make things a little bit interesting. I always seem to play nice, he could balance me out. :)

Cricket Bell from Lola and the Boy Next Door!
I think I'm well over my bad boy phase and Cricket is just so dorky, nerdy, smart and sweet - I love him.
I wouldn't take as long as Lola did to appreciate just how wonderful he is. (My husband might object but oh well!)

OK - now I have to clarify if we're talking all time YA boys. Yes, that would be Peeta. I don't need to explain why - he's perfect....nuff said. Just like with Cricket, it wouldn't take me forever to decide a thing.....he loves me - I love him. Done deal.

I can only think of Peeta Mellark, because I will never (for as long as I live) forget the childhood scene in which he gave Katniss bread from his family's bakery. I almost wept at that act of kindness. Such a quiet, humble, unassuming, courageous, noble, compassionate (and irresistibly cute) character... *sigh* That's all a girl needs- or maybe, just this girl:) Thanks for this giveaway!:)

Ya boys are too perfect. There made for the girls they are with. It's annoying.

If I had to pick It would be Matt from my friends Nik's unpublished work. Just because there's alot more to him then just the bad boy, and he's in a unhealthy relationship. and he's inlove wiht Cass so much, he's just perfect. And he knows how to deal with emotional girls.

Published work Battle Hall Davies from Empress of the world. - Sarah Ryan I love her, shes so strong, and emotional. I don't know if we would get along but I sure as hell would love to try

I think Tod from the Soul Screamer series because he is very protective and doesn't want anyone messing with him.

I would pick Seth from Wicked Lovely. He is one of the sweetest, cutest and hottest guys to ever appear on YA books! Jace is super cool and one of my favorites, too, but he would be way too high-maintenance. LOL. Seth just sounds like great boyfriend material. :) Thanks!!

I love all the guys who have been mentioned so far but I have to go with Ash from Julie Kagawa's Iron Fey series because not only is he dark and mysterious but he's also a strong and passionate character who is loyal to the end.

Do the Anne books count as YA? Because Gilbert Blythe would definitely be my pick. He's so kind and patient and utterly awesome.

Ah, there's a battle between Peeta Mellark and Etienne St. Clair going on... but if I were to be realistic, it would have to be Etienne from Anna and the French Kiss. Peeta is such a romantic, but I doubt I would ever find a guy in real life that would sacrifice as much for me. :P

Etienne on the other hand... funny, charming, British, best friend material... I'm still determined to run into my real life Etienne one of these days.

I would say Cassian from Firelight series by Sophie Jordan. Cassian has promised to do whatever he can to ensure Jacinda's safety, she can't forget Will. Still, Cassian is so patient and can't take his eyes off Jacinda.

AIDEN from Half-Blood. Oh my gawd. I LURVE Aiden. He's strong, he's smart, he plays guitar, drives a motorcycle and likes hard rock. Also, he can protect me. What more do I need?

I'm going to say Luke from the Mortal Instruments series. I adore Luke and he's an alpha werewolf too. :)

I would choose Will from The Infernal Devices series by Cassandra Clare. I love his wit and sense of humour, he can be the biggest sweetheart when he wants to, he fights demons, and he's just plain hot; there isn't a thing that I don't love about him!

Claire :)

There's a lot of book boyfriend material out there but only one fits the image in my head perfectly-Adam from If I Stay & Where She Went by Gayle Forman. His voice, his good looks, his caring and charismatic personality and his love for music...

So yeah basically, I love every little thing about Adam. It's like Gayle wrote him just for me. :)

Thanks!
